My guest today has been called "The First Lady of Nutrition", Dr. Ann Louise Gittleman, and she is a nutritional badass.
She was discussing eating healthy fats in the 80s when people were chasing the Pritikin Fad, and reminding us to 'Get Sugar Out" in the 90's. I had such a surprising and emotional conversation where Ann Louise shares her motivation for her latest book "Radical Longevity". Dr. Gittleman walks us through her own life altering brain injury just a few years ago, and her path to recovery.
If you are interested in toxic load, brain injury, pharma addiction, perimenopause, or menopause then we covered it. Not to mention how her husband became not only her medical advocate but the reason she survived the greatest challenge of her life. Dr. Gittleman is a pioneer and a fighter.
